The SAA Public Library Archives and Special Collections Section (PLASC) has been working to raise awareness of, and advocate for, the unique collections, staff, and work of public library archives and special collections. Some of our projects have included hosting coffee chats, managing and updating microsite resources, writing and publishing to the section blog, and collaborating with other sections to create holistic programming.
Students, new professionals, and mid-career welcome! Open to all who value and advocate for historical collections.
